New Edenism: The Movement That Can Help Save The Planet

The movement believes that we can evolve into a more enlightened species and prevent the planet and all of its inhabitants from going extinct.

New Edenism is an ethical movement that believes we can all live together in harmony with nature and each other regardless of race, gender, age, ability, or species. It aims to promote kindness in all our actions, including how we live, what we eat, how we treat each other, and how we organize society.

By fostering more empathic choices, supporters believe we can evolve into a more enlightened species, thus saving the planet and all of its inhabitants from extinction.

New Edenism is not a new movement, it is deeply related to Spiritual Ecology. Essentially, it means what planet protectors, eco warriors, ethical vegans, and advocates around the world are already doing.

All religions and philosophies have many parallels, and the movement's supporters seek to learn as much as they can, question everything, and accept only what resonates with truth, empathy, kindness, and love.

Edenists are aware that we are not superior to others, including non human animals, and thus reject the suppression, rape, torture, exploitation and slaughter of animals, whether for food, labor, sport, products, testing or amusement.

Those who follow this movement believe that using animals as food will delay our evolution. Due to the fact that 70 percent of monoculture crops are grown to feed livestock, Edenists believe that a shift to veganism would allow for the re-wilding of land and the cultivation of local foods using permaculture methods like creating edible forests. By planting carbon-busting Eden Gardens all over the world, we would not only feed the world but also slow down the warming of our planet.

It is suggested that supporters reverse the unsustainable expansion of the human population by encouraging only those who have a deep desire to procreate to become parents, and that the role of parenting becomes a prestigious occupation where people pledge to raise their children to become more empathic than previous generations.

The goal as Edenists is to live in eco-friendly communities based on kindness and to be self-sustaining and reject consumerism.

Edenist principles can be implemented by anyone, it is open to all. You are welcome to join the movement whether or not you want to call yourself an Edenist.
